Dress Shopping

I went dress shopping for the first time on Sunday. What an experience! Ever since I was a teenager I wanted to buy my wedding dress at Stella's. So mom, Kristen and I hopped in the car and drove to Eastern Ave on Sunday. Long story short, I didn't find anything there, and they don't carry Casablanca so I couldn't even try on the dress that I have my eye on.

Then, on the way back from Stella's, we were in a small fender bender. I was stopped at a red light and a woman came over on me and hit my driver side rear quarter panel. Grrrr. So we said eff it and went to lunch. mmmmm. I just love Mexican food.

So with a tummy full of peppers, onions and steak, we went to David's Bridal. I wasn't looking forward to Davids. I didn't want to deal with any part of it. I may sound like a bit of a Bridezilla, but I wanted personal attention and wonderful service. I know...I'm a brat. So as soon as we walked into David's we were deep in the crowd of other brides-and prom shoppers. They were SOOOO busy! After trying on what felt like 1,125,654 dresses, I finally asked my "consultant" if I could strip a maniquin in the front of the store. So the consultant and I stripped the maniquin and I tried it on. OH! I fell in love!! I *think* I have found her! I still want to find a shop that carries Casablanca in my size, but if i can't find one, then I am going to buy the little beauty I tried on Sunday afternoon. Yay! Kristen did take pictures, but I can't post them for fear of Tom lurking. Heh heh...
